Willow Creek North Shore's Promiseland

I got to spend last Sunday taking photos of the adorable kids in the Promiseland program at Willow Creek North Shore.

Can never have too much Essie...

My photogenic dog shows her sweet face again!

My Orchids

I love orchids.  Currently I have four orchid plants in my apartment that keep re-blooming.  This is the third time that this white one has bloomed for me and each time it has more buds!

Welcome to Kibera

Welcome to Kibera ia an introduction to the Kibera slums of Nairobi Kenya that I put together to help promote The Lord's House of Hope.  Enjoy!

The Lord's House of Hope

Ever since returning from Kenya, I've been looking for an excuse to go back.  And I've found one!  Recently I've become involved in The Lord's House of Hope, an orphanage being constructed near Kibera (the slum where I volunteered) and will house over 40 slum and refugee children.  Please check out our blog to learn more about the project and email lordshouseofhope@gmail.com to find out how you can get involved in this exciting project.

Holy Family Ministries

Once again, I had the pleasure of working with Holy Family Ministries to create a video highlighting all of their services.  It's always a treat to get to film at their community center on the west side... so many happy, smiling faces!

Dear Jenn,

I ran across a quote that captures what you've done with the new video: "I really believe that there are things nobody would see if I didn't photograph them." Diane Aubus
Our new video provides a comprehensive, joyful overview of Holy Family Ministries.  It will allow us to communicate our mission and programs to people who will never visit us.  I'm very excited and pleased!
